Navratri 2025: Shardiya Navratri Date and Auspicious Time
Shardiya Navratri is celebrated in the months of October and November. During shardiya Navratri Durga Puja is Organised, Pandal is set in the street and Dusshera celebration is taking place on the 10nth day of shardiya Navratri.

Navratri 2025: Navratri 9 Color in 2025
Day 1: White (maa Shailputri) The Significance Of The white color is Pure, Peace innocence and it is associated with Shailputri, the first form of Goddess Durga.
Day 2 : Red (maa Brahmacharini ) The significance of the Red color is Passion and Love and it is associated with Brahmacharini, the second form of Goddess Durga.
Day 3 : Royal Blue (maa Chandraghanta) The significance of the color Royal Blue is wealth and Property and it is associated with maa Chandraghanta, the third form of Goddess Durga.
Day 4 : Yellow (maa Kushmanda) The Significance of the color Yellow is Happiness, Brightness ,belief and Positivity and it is associated with Maa Kushmanda, the fourth form of Goddess Durga.

Navratri 2025: Fasting Rules
There are many rules of fast which are very important to follow. During Navratri if you break the rules then you will not get the results of Navratri fast. Many devotees keep fast on the first day and last day , and also some devotees keep fast for the 9 Days . Both ways of observing this fast are correct. If you are fasting for nine days or Observing 1st day and last day of Navratri you will remember to follow the same rules.
What to eat during Fast: We observe fast to please Mata rani, we worship and chant mantra. If you observe fast then eat fruits and drink water at 12 o’clock and then 4 pm after that eat nothing all day. Fast means eating fruits two times and chanting Mantra all day . Remaining hungry for 1 day is good for your health. It’s scientifically Proven. Observing fast doesn’t mean eating kattu’s pakora, sago kheer, or water chestnut pudding and drinking water again and again. This is not fast.
How to break Navratri Fast : If you have kept the fast for nine days, break the fast on the day of Ashtami or Navami Tithi. On the day of Navami Tithi you must do Udyapan (Hawan and puja ) of the fast and offer special food to 9 kanya such as Halwa puri, chana ,sweet and kheer, and give them Dakshina. There is a question in the minds of many devotees that whether the fast can be observed even without setting up the Kalash, then your answer is Yes, Navratri fast can be observed even without establishing the Kalash.
What not to do during Fast : Keep in mind that the person observing Navratri fast must follow celibacy and should not lie at all during these nine days. And stay away from anger, do not insult any woman or girl in any way during these nine days. During fast by eating fruits only twice. Remember, do not observe this fast without water or without fruits. You must consume fruits for nine days. During the nine days, a fasting person should not consume Gutka, Paan, spicy food, meat, temples etc. Avoid drinking water again and again during the fast. Do not break the Navratri fast at all.
